Faculty of Mechatronics and Electronics welcomes its freshmen

The Faculty of Mechatronics and Electronics, LHU on October 4, 2024 organized a warm meeting to welcome its new students of the 2024 intake. The event attracted the participation of more than 300 freshmen. DSc. Pham Van Toan - Dean, MSc. Le Hoang Anh - Vice Dean, along with Heads of Departments, and lecturers of the Faculty also attended the event.

The welcome event is an opportunity for the new students to get acquainted with the new learning and living environment as well as learn more about the necessary preparations for their 4-year journey at LHU.

Opening the meeting was special performances to welcome all the participants. In his opening speech, DSc. Pham Van Toan - Dean emphasized the importance of preparation and learning spirit during the university journey. "University is a place not only to study but also to discover yourself and develop skills, you need to prepare yourself with the highest mindset to build a strong foundation before stepping into life", Mr. Toan shared.

There was also a Q&A session between the leaders and freshmen. Many interesting questions regarding the curriculum, extracurricular activities and useful tips for effective learning were raised at the event.

One of the highlights of the event was the music exchange among the new students through vibrant songs. This is an occasion for them to build connections and friendships. Additionally, the Organizers opened a lucky draw program for all participating students, and awarded 1 Special, 2 Second, 5 Third and 11 Consolation prizes to lucky ones.

The welcome program took place in a bustling atmosphere filled with joy and laughter, starting a new and promising journey at the Faculty and the University.
