Cooperation meeting between LHU and Saxon Science Liaison Office, Leipzig University, Germany

LHU on September 24, 2024 welcomed and worked with a delegation from Leipzig University's Saxon Science Liaison Office (SSLO) and its Representative Office in Vietnam to discuss exchange programs, postgraduate programs and scholarship policies for LHU students.

The meeting saw the presence of Mr. Pablo Barriga, SSLO; Ms. Nguyen Thanh Hien, Representative Office in Vietnam; Lac Hong Bilingual School including Mr. Phan Quang Vinh - Principal and Ms. Tran Thi Hoa - Vice Principal of Administration. Welcoming the delegation were Ms. Nguyen Thi Hoang Oanh - Head of Office of International Affairs and related staff.

Leipzig University is one of the oldest and most prestigious universities in Germany, located in the city of Leipzig, Saxony. With its rich history and academic traditions, Leipzig University has made significant contributions to the development of European science and culture. The University is widely recognized for its excellence in training quality and research. It offers a wide range of programs at the bachelor's, master's and doctoral levels, attracting students from all over the world. The SSLO is a newly established facility under Leipzig University, aiming to promote educational and research cooperation between Saxony, Germany and Vietnam.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed undergraduate programs (free) and postgraduate programs at universities in Germany's Saxony; scholarship policies for undergraduate students and financial support for postgraduate students, paid student exchange or internship policies for Technology and Engineering majors in Germany.
