LHU to attend Southest regional Business Start-up Exchange

Recently, more than 150 officials, teachers and students of LHU Faculty of International Business Administration and Faulty of Finance and Accounting together with hundreds of Economic majored students of other universities and colleges in the southeast region gathered at Sonadezi College of Technology and Management to attend the Business Forum entitled “Business Start-up Exchange".

The successful entrepreneurs shared experience in business start - up with the participants.

At the program, students were provided with specific information about National Business Start-up Contest. Especially, the participants were excited in exchange activity with four successful speakers in business field namely Ms. Nguyen Thi Le Hong - Chairman of Dong Nai Business Association - Chairman of Member Council - General Manager of Dong Nai Food Industrial Corporation; Mr. Pham Duc Binh - Chairman of Dong Nai Young  Entrepreneurs Association - Chairman of Board of Directors of Thanh Binh Joint Stock Company; Ms. Nguyen Thi  Bach Mai - General Director of Dong Nai Port Joint Stock Company and Mr. Ho Duc Thanh - Chairman of Board of Directors of Industrial Urban Development Joint Stock Company No 2 (D2D).

Through the program, LHU Faculty Management Board expected their students to have more insight on businesses, global thinking and creativity - the key elements which help create a young leader. The forum is a bridge which helps students understand more about the importance of self-leadership ability, methods to develop personal potentiality to become successful, professional, creative and young people in the future. It is also the place to connect enterprises and students. In addition, the program offered businesses and students opportunities to look for talents and learn experience, respectively.

Standing Deputy Secretary of Dong Nai Youth Union Nguyen Cao Cuong awarded certificates of merit to 20 excellent youngsters.

On the occasion, the Organizing Board bestowed merits to 20 youngsters for their excellent start-up spirit. Five of them were LHU students including Nguyen Cao Anh Tuan, Nguyen Hong Phuc and Nguyen Tan Tuyen (Faculty of International Business Administration), Huynh Anh Thu and Le Huynh Hai (coming from the Faculty of Finance and Accounting).
