LHU recognized with prestigious awards from MOET and Dong Nai province

Amid a transformative period in higher education emphasizing innovation, creativity, and integration, LHU continues to make its mark through outstanding achievements in improving educational quality, governance, and student services.

During the nationwide emulation movement “Innovation and Creativity in Management, Teaching, and Learning” for the 2020–2025 period, the Ministry of Education and Training (MOET) recognized 141 collectives and 174 individuals for their excellent performance. Among them, LHU had the honor of receiving Certificates of Merit from the Minister, acknowledging the University’s persistent efforts, dedication, and strategic vision throughout its journey of innovation.

On November 27, 2025, during the 2025–2026 academic year Staff Conference, the Organizing Committee, on behalf of MOET, commended and presented Certificates of merit to the Faculty of Pharmacy and to Dr. Pham Van Toan, Dean of the Faculty of Mechatronics and Electronics. These awards recognize their outstanding achievements in scientific research, teaching material development, and enhancing training quality in alignment with real-world industry needs.

The 2024–2025 academic year also marked a season of remarkable achievements for LHU’s staff, lecturers, and employees. The Chairman of Dong Nai Provincial People’s Committee awarded several prestigious emulation titles to LHU, further underscoring the University’s excellence in training, governance, and community service.

Dong Nai Provincial People’s Committee awarding Outstanding Emulation Flags to three LHU collectives

Specifically, the LHU pedagogy collective were honored by the Provincial People’s Committee, including: three collectives receiving the Outstanding Emulation Flag; 17 units receiving the Collective Labor Excellence Certificate; and nine collectives along with 47 individuals awarded provincial commendations. These recognitions were given to units that implemented innovative initiatives, enhanced the student experience, improved assessment and accreditation processes, and contributed to developing a safe and modern living and learning environment.

These accomplishments are well-deserved, and simultaneously, they serve as a reminder of the responsibility of a pioneering higher education institution - one that always places students at the center, innovation as the driving force, and quality as a sustainable commitment.

Looking ahead, LHU remains committed to further enhancing training quality, fostering international integration, and pursuing sustainable development. These prestigious awards will serve as motivation for the University to continue strengthening its brand and making meaningful contributions to the community, to Dong Nai province, and to Vietnamese education as a whole.
