On the morning of April 13, 2026, a delegation from LHU visited and held a working session with the Center for Language Education and Cooperation in Beijing, China, to discuss future directions for cooperation in language education and academic exchange.
Representing LHU were Associate Professor Lam Thanh Hien, PhD, Rector of the University, and Dr. Nguyen Thi Hoang Oanh, Head of the Office of International Affairs, along with other members of the delegation.
During the meeting, LHU representatives shared updates on the outcomes of the tripartite cooperation program among LHU, the Center for Language Education and Cooperation, and Ludong University, which was signed in 2023. Under this program, 30 LHU students have so far been sent to Ludong University to pursue the 3+2 joint training program, and the collaboration has been progressing effectively.
In 2026, approximately 20 additional LHU students are expected to study at Ludong University through this cooperation program, further expanding international learning opportunities for students and strengthen educational connections between the two institutions.
Both sides also discussed potential directions for future collaboration, particularly in enhancing academic exchanges, promoting faculty and student exchange, and developing joint programs in language education and training. The meeting took place in an open and constructive atmosphere, reflecting the shared commitment of both parties to further advancing educational cooperation between institutions in Vietnam and China.
