LHU makes its mark at 2024–2025 Binh Duong Provincial Technical Innovation Contest

On May 30, 2025, the closing and award ceremony of the 11th Binh Duong Provincial Technical Innovation Contest and the 21st Youth and Children's Creativity Contest, 2024-2025 took place in Thu Dau Mot city.

LHU students winning a Third and two Consolation prizes at the 2024-2025 Binh Duong Provincial Technical Innovation Contest

At the event, outstanding teams from LHU achieved impressive results. Notably, the team from the Faculty of Mechatronics and Electronics won Third prize in the field of Automated Mechanics, Construction, and Transportation. In addition, two projects including LHU Adely and COUNTFISH – developed by students from the Faculty of Information Technology secured Consolation prizes in the field of Information Technology, Electronics, and Telecommunications.

The 11th Binh Duong Provincial Technical Innovation Contest attracted 89 innovative solutions from both inside and outside the province, covering diverse fields such as information technology, medicine and pharmacy, education, mechanical engineering, and environment.

The two Contests were organized by the Union of Science and Technology Associations of Binh Duong Province in coordination with the Department of Science and Technology, the Provincial Labor Federation, and the Provincial Youth Union. They aim to foster and promote intellectual potential and creative thinking across society, especially among students and young people.

As a result, the Organizing Committee presented awards to 22 solutions in the Technical Innovation Contest, including 2 Second, 5 Third, and 15 Consolation prizes (no First prize). In the Youth and Children's Creativity Contest, 2 Second, 4 Third, 16 Consolation prizes, and 39 Active Participation Awards were given to outstanding individuals and groups (no First prize).
