Logistics and Supply Chain Management Students Visit the Vietnam International Logistics Exhibition 2026

On the morning of July 31, 2026, the Faculty of Finance and Accounting, Lac Hong University, organized a field visit for students of the Logistics and Supply Chain Management program to the Vietnam International Logistics Exhibition 2026 (VILOG 2026) at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center (SECC). The visit was designed as an experiential learning activity to provide students with exposure to emerging trends in the logistics industry, advanced technologies, and opportunities to engage with leading enterprises.

The delegation was led by Dr. Nguyen Thi Bach Tuyet, Head of the Logistics and Supply Chain Management Program, and included 20 first-year students majoring in Logistics and Supply Chain Management. Organized as part of the Faculty’s academic development plan, the visit aimed to strengthen the integration of academic learning with professional practice while enhancing the quality of application-oriented education.

During the exhibition, students visited exhibition booths hosted by a wide range of domestic and international organizations operating in logistics, transportation, warehousing, seaport operations, supply chain technologies, and import–export services. They were introduced to the latest innovations in automation, digital transformation, artificial intelligence (AI), smart warehouse management, multimodal transportation, and advanced technology platforms that are transforming modern logistics operations.

In addition to exploring the exhibition, students had the opportunity to interact with business representatives, learn about internship and employment opportunities, discuss career pathways, and gain insights into the professional competencies, technical skills, and foreign language proficiency expected of logistics professionals in an increasingly globalized environment. These practical exchanges provided students with a clearer understanding of workplace expectations and the future development of the logistics industry.

The visit also enabled academic staff to gain updated insights into current industry developments, thereby facilitating the integration of practical knowledge and emerging trends into the curriculum. This contributes to enhancing teaching quality while strengthening collaboration between the University and industry partners.

Through participation in the Vietnam International Logistics Exhibition 2026, the Faculty of Finance and Accounting continues to reaffirm its commitment to practice-oriented education, with industry serving as a strategic partner in the educational process. Such experiential learning activities provide students with valuable opportunities to enhance their professional knowledge, develop practical competencies, expand internship and career prospects, and better prepare themselves to meet the evolving demands of the logistics and supply chain management profession.
