Lac Hong University’s Faculty of Finance – Accounting Signs Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Techcombank

On the afternoon of November 27, 2025, at Room A301, Lac Hong University, the Faculty of Finance – Accounting solemnly held the signing ceremony of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Vietnam Technological and Commercial Joint Stock Bank (Techcombank). This event marks a significant milestone in strengthening university–industry collaboration, aiming to enhance training quality and expand career opportunities for students majoring in Finance and Banking.

The ceremony was attended by representatives of the University’s Board of Management, the Faculty’s leadership, lecturers, and representatives from Techcombank, including Ms. Nguyen Le Thao Nguyen – Deputy Division Director, Head of Human Resources Partnership. As outlined in the plan issued on November 18, 2025, the signing aims to deepen training cooperation, support professional skill development, and create pathways for students to access professional working environments.

In his remarks, the representative of Lac Hong University emphasized the importance of corporate engagement in higher education, especially in the context of an increasingly competitive labor market. Techcombank’s representative also expressed the bank’s expectation of establishing a long-term, effective partnership through internship programs, recruitment activities, and professional knowledge sharing for students of the Faculty of Finance – Accounting.

The highlight of the event was the formal signing of the MOU, which laid the foundation for implementing practice-oriented training activities between the two institutions. Immediately after the ceremony, Techcombank awarded scholarships worth 20 million VND to students of the Faculty of Finance – Accounting as a gesture of support and encouragement for their academic and professional development.

Additionally, Techcombank conducted on-site recruitment interviews, offering students the opportunity to experience real-world selection processes and explore potential career paths in the banking sector.

The ceremony concluded in a formal and collaborative atmosphere, reflecting the strong connection between the University, the Faculty, and the corporate partner. The Faculty of Finance – Accounting, Lac Hong University extends its sincere thanks to the Center for Admissions & Public Relations, the Facility Management Office, the Academic Affairs Office, and all lecturers and students for their support in successfully organizing the event as planned.
